Overview

PBFP is a 100% volunteer-operated, non-profit organization that provides low to no-cost services to pets and pet owners who are in need throughout the metro Atlanta area. Services provided include:
 

  • Free pet food

  • Spay/neuter services

  • Resource lists

  • Community outreach/education​

PROBLEM

Pet Buddies Food Pantry's website did not fully support its ability to reach and support pet owners in need. The outdated design, confusing navigation, and unclear messaging created a negative user experience, limiting awareness and donations.

Identifying the needs of the users

We completed 58 online surveys and 5 phone interviews with current and former pet owners regarding their experiences with pet ownership, related hardships, and willingness to donate to organizations such as PBFP.
